BUFSA News and Updates: Adorable Style =D

Hoy Pan De Sals,

Guess who? On behalf of the e-board, I want to thank all of you who had come to the first ISA practice yesterday. It was so great to see all of you guys having fun and taking an interest not only in Filipino Culture, but also in one of BUFSA's biggest events. Props to the newbies especially- welcome to the club!

Now let's get down to the business:

Item #1: ISA

  • Practice: Want to be part of the performance? Well you still can you silly pan! Just contact the dance coordinators (Christian and Auburn) and come to one of our practices. Practices for traditional dances and modern dances are held during the weekend. Be sure to check your emails later in the week to find out when and where this weekend's practices will be held. Do it!
  • Committees: Can't get enough of BOOFSA or ISA? Well here's the chance to be part of what goes on behind the scenes. Now YOU have the opportunity to work with some of the e-board members in any of the committees listed below:
    • Productions/Script: Juan, Carlo, Tim
    • Advertising/Promotion: Emmeline, Auburn, Christian
    • Food/Decorations: Michelle, Marie
    • Volunteering (Day of): Rob, JP
Just contact us through email, phone, facebook. Do it!

Item #2: Intramural Sports

  • Getcha Head in the Game: Sorry for the High School Musical reference. The Little Brown Filipino Warriors, the most awesome intramural team at BU, has an upcoming basketball game next Monday, February 16th in the Fit-Rec. Come to play in the game or show your support. Contact Juan for more information about our intramural sports this semester.  It's lots of fun. Do it!

Item #3: JSA Eating Contest

  • When: The Japanese Student Association will be hosting a food-eating contest in the SAO gym on Sunday, March 22nd.
  • Say What?: FSA plans to participate in the contest. To enter, simply get into teams of 5 people. Each team will eat through rounds of food form different ethnic groups. It only cost $10 to register a team (so $2 for each individual). Do it!
Item #4: Family Dinner!
  • This week's family dinner will be held in Warren Towers. Remember, Family Dinner is every Wednesday, 6:30 P.M.

Sorry if I forgot to put anything else e-board xD
